Desert Voices
Desert Voices, established in 1988, stands as Arizona's foremost LGBTQIA+ chorus. This not-for-profit organization is dedicated to promoting the positive representation of gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender individuals in the community. Committed to fostering understanding, cooperation, and peaceful coexistence, Desert Voices is composed of a diverse blend of LGBTQIA+ individuals and straight allies, united in their passion for singing.
Over the years, the chorus has made its presence felt with performances throughout Arizona, now led by Artistic Director James Higgs. The group continually welcomes new members, fans, and supporters to join them in their mission of "Fostering Community Through Song."
